Nia Young

Nia graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a 2:1 in Business Studies before beginning her events career at SSE, where she progressed to Group Brand and Events Manager within the Corporate Affairs team. Her experience delivering corporate events shaped her strategic and detail-driven approach to event management. Since joining Speakeasy, Nia has grown from project management into a broader leadership role, overseeing a diverse range of events, projects and teams. Now Events Director, she combines experience, energy and precision with a calm, considered approach to every challenge she takes on. Outside of work, Nia is a dedicated fitness fanatic. When she’s not running events in conference centres, you’ll usually find her running through them – competing in HYROX and putting her endurance to the test.
