Alan has been a trusted part of the Speakeasy team for well over a decade, bringing a rare combination of skills that spans camera operation, directing and editing. After graduating from Stirling University he joined BBC Scotland, working on programmes including Munro: Mountain Man and Primetime, before moving into freelance work that earned him several award nominations as a director. He has collaborated with Speakeasy across a vast range of projects for clients including Scottish Enterprise, the University of Aberdeen and the Scottish Government.His highlights to date include filming on the Black Cuillin on Skye – proof, if it were needed, that this is a job with genuine perks.
