This is Charles, our gardener, with a big vegetable. We thought it was supposed to be this size. Indeed, we were a bit concerned that he might hurt himself toting it around. Turns out it was a prizewinner and somebody gave him a badge for it.
He suggested that we should put some of our work up for a badge. We laughed and told him that we just liked to focus on producing great communications, but he insisted. So we did and, lo and behold, we won some. Over two hundred, in fact.
Charles, who can turn his hand to most things, loves hanging them around the offices. Each new trophy gives him an excuse to scoot down to Covent Garden to make sure it’s displayed in the right spot. He’s a perfectionist.
The moral of this story is, of course, that if one of the team has a good idea we should listen to it (so long as it does not involve gratuitous travel.)
